I am sorry to say that on November 5th, 2020, our beloved office cat, Dinky, left the Magoo-Crew to be with his heavenly brother, Mouser. Dinky was my shadow at Magoo’s. He sat on my paperwork, my keyboard, my calculator, my chair; wherever I was working, Dinky was there. Sometimes he would decide that a visitor’s lap looked like a good place to sit for a while, or a shipping box looked like a nice place to take a nap, but he followed me around everywhere. He told me on a regular basis what he wanted and because he was very vocal, the office is terribly quiet now. We are making adjustments and will miss our Dinky but know that he had a great life. ******************* Dinky aka "The Office Cat" and "Dr. Dinky" is 19 years old but you wouldn't know that by how he gets around. He spends most of his time in the administrative offices but will occasionally roam the halls of the production side of the shop or greet you at the front door. He spends most of his day on Margaret's desk, pretending to be a paperweight or keyboard operator. He is known to promptly jump into her vacated chair to settle in for a nap, and upon her return, she gets the dreaded "Dinky stare" daring her to move him. Sometimes when Margaret is looking at her computer, she will see a string of characters which means that Dinky is walking across the keyboard! He's such a good helper! During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dinky donned a face mask and became "Dr. Dinky". You may have seen him on an email signature or posters promoting safety. His presence at the office has given our staff and visitors many hours of enjoyment.
